Cheryl comes from a blend of different modalities some of which include: Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Behaviour Change Modalities, & Emotion Counselling. Most importantly, Cheryl considers herself a kindness advocate in the human journey. Cheryl's areas of interest include understanding the human condition, learning self-compassion and understanding your emotional world. She supports you to explore your motivations, cultivate positive habits, have a clearer understanding of your nervous system and its impact on your life, and empowering you to take ownership of your well-being.
With over 25 years of experience in Social Work and Nursing, Cheryl has worked with a wide range of organisations including the Alfred Health, St Vincents Public and Private, RMH, RCH, Bayside Health, Caulfield Hospital, Dandenong Hospital - drug withdrawal unit, Southern Cross Care, STAR Health outreach, Testing and Treatment clinics at Launch Housing, CoHealth & Access Health, VicRoads, YOU Group Training Specialists & as an AASW Professional Consultant.
Cheryl also provides external social work supervision to practioners coming from various fields including: Aged Care, People Seeking Asylum, Emergency Services, Law Enforcement, Universities, NGOs, NDIS, Private Practitioners, and Mental Health Specialists.
Cheryl provides BCP courses for VicRoads as an Accredited Behaviour Change Facilitator and she is a registered Social Worker with the AASW.
She specialises in external supervision, career guidance, understanding habitual feedback loops, and behaviour change models for individuals, groups and organisations.
